I have a frugal tip to share with you, Mr. Frugal actually taught me this and I was so embarrassed that I didn’t already know this!  I hope I can explain this well, for those of you that get it maybe you could help me put it into better words…

I see sales like this often at Costco where it’s a certain dollar amount off the whole package not a per pound discount and naturally I would just try to find the largest package. I really have no idea why! One day Mr. frugal came along to help me grocery shop and told me I should be looking for the smallest package so that I can get the best price per pound in the end. Mind blown. ?
