Are you looking to lose some weight? I have tried it all and then some.
Anyone else? That was until I discovered 2 things – keto and intermittent fasting. That combo has proven to be my missing piece of the puzzle! This isn’t an easy share for me, sharing pictures makes me feel so vulnerable but I want at least one person to experience feeling better!
My favorite part – nothing special to buy, no pills, drinks, shakes, meals, etc.
I started eating Keto on Sept. 28th, 2019 the very next morning after watching The Magic Pill. Mr. Frugal was already eating this way after a diagnosis the year before with Type 1 Diabetes, he had to quickly make a whole lifestyle change. Unfortunately it took me longer than it should have to follow along.
I quickly started losing weight, there were some stalls here and there along the way but I was determined to keep going. I felt so much better, literally right away. I still feel amazing, cravings were gone within a couple of weeks and we found lots of great healthy substitutes. I will say we eat dirty keto – just a personal choice, we allow sugar free treats and coke zeros. There are many ways to eat keto successfully.
Within a month all of our kids were eating this way along with us, some reluctantly at first but now we all realize how much better we feel. None of them had weight to lose – and they didn’t lose any. They’re growing stronger and more confident because they FEEL better. Faces clearing up, less ups and downs emotionally, just more even keeled all around.

Starting Weight: 200lbs (aaaahhhhh)
Current Weight: 163
Goal Weight – not sure yet, oddly I am wearing a size 8 which I was wearing when I weighed 145 before. I attribute this to no carbs = less inflammation.
